Curatory
Your custom emoji workbench. Use it to manage, improve, and add to your custom emoji collection. We really like metaphors, so there are a few terms you'll see used almost interchangeably. Curate, or curation refers to all aspects of managing your collection, as museum curators do. Restoration is the act of maintaining and improving specific artifacts in the collection. Restoration is done on a workbench and can be initiated from existing emoji or any image you created or found, including animated ones. All of this can be done from within Curatory, with ease, entirely on your Mac.
Getting started
Curatory opens on an empty screen. Grant access to a folder of images to begin. Click the Choose Folder… (or press ⌘O) to grant the app access to your source folder of images. Curatory remembers it for next time, and picks up anything added there from outside the app.
Two modes
- Collection — Organize your images by setting a few (up to nine) folders to file your emoji into. Keyboard shortcuts make this process fast and easy. Well, faster and easier than it would be otherwise. Collection details
- Restoration — Improve your emoji through several non-destructive editing functions. Improve several attributes and save a file small enough to work in your favorite app. Restoration details
Your privacy and security are our first priority.Curatory is sandboxed. Nothing you work on ever leaves your Mac.
